Read-only

The AI can see charges. It can never move money.

How it works

From "how many do I even have?" to cancelled, in minutes.

Most people underestimate their subscription count by half. Oncancel's AI finds the full picture, then does the tedious part for you.

STEP 1

Tell us about your spending

Answer a few quick questions and get a personalized estimate of what you could save each year.

STEP 2

Connect your bank or email

Link a bank account through Plaid or connect Gmail with read-only access. The AI scans for recurring charges and surfaces every subscription in one list.

STEP 3

Cancel and track

Pick what you don't want. The AI contacts each merchant, handles the cancellation, and keeps you updated until it's confirmed.

Everything in one place

Your subscriptions, finally under control.

One dashboard for everything recurring: what you pay, when it renews, and what it costs you per year.

Find hidden subscriptions

Free trials that quietly converted, apps you tried once, services billed under names you don't recognize. The AI catches everything recurring, even charges a statement scan would miss.

Cancel unwanted services

Select up to 10 subscriptions at a time and confirm once. We take it from there, including the merchants that make cancelling hard on purpose.

Track every cancellation

Follow each request from submitted to confirmed. We notify you the moment a merchant responds, so nothing is left in limbo.

Renewal reminders

Get a heads-up before every charge, so a renewal is always a decision you made rather than a surprise on your statement.

Price-increase alerts

When a service raises its price, you'll know before the higher charge hits, with the old and new amounts side by side.

Free-trial alerts

Started a trial you might forget? We remind you before it converts to a paid plan, while there's still time to walk away.

Security and privacy

Built for the moment you hesitate before connecting your bank.

We know exactly what we're asking for. Here's exactly what we do, and don't do, with it.

Bank connection secured by Plaid

We never see or store your banking credentials. Plaid, the same infrastructure used by leading finance apps, handles the connection with read-only access to transactions.

Gmail access is read-only and independently audited

Our Gmail integration undergoes a third-party security assessment required by Google for restricted-scope access. We can read receipts to detect subscriptions. We can never send, delete, or modify your email.

The AI can look, never touch

Read-only means read-only. The AI can see recurring charges to build your subscription list, but it has no ability to move money, make payments, or change your accounts.

Disconnect anytime

Remove a connected bank or email account in one tap from Settings, and request deletion of your data whenever you want. No hidden fees, no lock-in.

Cancellation, handled

You tap cancel. The AI does the rest.

Merchants make cancelling deliberately painful: buried settings, retention calls, "are you sure?" screens. Oncancel's AI contacts them on your behalf and doesn't stop until it's confirmed.

  • Cancel up to 10 subscriptions in a single batch
  • Live status for every request: requested, submitted, awaiting response, cancelled
  • A notification the moment each cancellation is confirmed

FAQ

Questions people ask before connecting.

How does Oncancel find my subscriptions?

Once you connect a bank account through Plaid or a Gmail account with read-only access, Oncancel's AI scans your transaction history or receipts for recurring charges. It groups them by merchant, works out the billing cycle and next charge date, and shows everything in one list, including charges billed under names you might not recognize.

Is it safe to connect my bank account?

Yes. The connection is handled by Plaid, the same infrastructure used by major finance apps. Oncancel never sees or stores your banking credentials, and access is strictly read-only: we can see transactions to detect subscriptions, but we have no ability to move money or make changes to your account.

What does Gmail access actually let you see?

Read-only access to your inbox so we can detect subscription receipts and renewal emails. We cannot send, delete, or modify anything. Our Gmail integration also undergoes an independent third-party security assessment, which Google requires before granting this level of access. You can disconnect at any time from Settings.

How do cancellations actually work?

You select the subscriptions you want gone (up to 10 at a time) and confirm. The AI contacts each merchant on your behalf and tracks the request through four stages: requested, submitted, awaiting response, and cancelled. You get a notification at each step, and we keep following up until the merchant confirms.

What if a merchant refuses or doesn't respond?

Some merchants are slower or more stubborn than others. If a cancellation stalls, we keep following up and show you the live status in the tracker. If a merchant ultimately requires you to act directly, we'll tell you exactly what to do and where, so you're never left guessing.

Does the AI train on my data?

No. Your bank and email data is used only to run your account: finding your subscriptions, tracking cancellations, and powering your alerts. It is never used to train AI models, never used for advertising, and never sold. This is a binding commitment in our privacy policies, not just a marketing line.

Can I cancel my Oncancel plan?

Anytime, in a couple of taps, from the Settings screen or through your app store subscription settings. We'd be a strange subscription-cancelling app if we made our own subscription hard to cancel.

Find out what you're really paying for.

It takes about two minutes to connect, and the AI shows you every subscription you're paying for. Most people are surprised by at least one.
