Terms of Use
Effective date: July 20, 2026 · Last updated: July 20, 2026
Welcome to Oncancel. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Oncancel mobile application, the website at oncancel.com, and related products and services (together, the "Service"). The Service is operated by Endure Labs, Inc., a company incorporated under the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, with its principal place of business at 2228 Ellesworth Avenue, Copper Canyon, TX 75077, USA ("Oncancel", "we", "us", or "our").
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you connect a Gmail account, the Oncancel Google User Data Policy also applies. If you do not agree, do not access or use the Service.
1. Description of the Service
Oncancel helps you find the subscriptions you pay for and cancel the ones you don't want. With your authorization, the Service connects to your bank account through Plaid or to your Gmail account with read-only access, detects recurring charges, presents them in one place with spending totals and savings estimates, and, at your direction, contacts merchants to request cancellation of the subscriptions you select. The Service also provides renewal reminders, price-increase alerts, and free-trial alerts.
What we do: analyze your connected transaction or email data to find recurring charges, show you where your money goes, request and track cancellations on your behalf, and alert you before renewals, price increases, and trial conversions.
What we do not do: we are not a bank, payment processor, creditor, or financial institution. We do not process payments, move money, or initiate financial transactions. We do not store your banking credentials. We do not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. We cannot guarantee that any particular cancellation will succeed (see Section 6).
2. Eligibility and account registration
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction if higher, and able to form a binding contract. By using the Service you represent that you meet these requirements.
When you create an account, you agree to provide accurate and complete information, keep it up to date, keep your credentials secure, take responsibility for activity under your account, and notify us immediately at support@oncancel.com if you suspect unauthorized access. You may sign in with email and password or through third-party providers such as Apple or Google; your relationship with those providers is governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for their practices.
3. Bank and email connections
To detect your subscriptions, you may choose to connect a bank account or a Gmail account. You may only connect accounts you own or are authorized to use.
- Bank (Plaid): the connection is established by Plaid Inc. Your banking credentials are provided directly to Plaid and are never transmitted to or stored by Oncancel. Access is read-only and limited to the data needed to detect recurring charges. Your use of Plaid is also subject to Plaid's own terms and privacy policy.
- Email (Gmail): access is read-only; we cannot send, modify, or delete your email. Our handling of Google user data is governed by the Oncancel Google User Data Policy.
Oncancel is independent. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any bank, financial institution, or merchant, and they are not responsible for the Service. You remain responsible for complying with your bank's account agreements, monitoring your accounts for accuracy and unauthorized activity, and verifying subscription information we surface, since transaction categorization can contain errors. You can revoke either connection at any time from Settings.
4. Authorization to act as your limited agent
When you request a cancellation, you authorize Oncancel to act as your limited agent for that request: to contact the relevant merchant on your behalf and to provide the verification details reasonably needed to identify your account and process the cancellation, which may include your name, the email address or phone number associated with the subscription, your service address, an account or customer number, and limited payment-method identifiers where the merchant requires them. Where a merchant's process only accepts requests from the account holder, you consent to our agents identifying themselves as acting for the account holder, solely to complete the cancellation you requested. This authorization is limited to the specific cancellations you request and ends when they are completed or withdrawn.
You can withdraw a pending request in the app while its status is "requested". Once a request has been submitted to a merchant, it may not be possible to withdraw.
5. Cancellations are requests, not guarantees
We work to complete every cancellation you request and track each one through to confirmation, but cancellation ultimately depends on the merchant. We do not guarantee that any merchant will accept, process, or confirm a cancellation, or do so within a particular timeframe. You remain responsible for charges billed before a cancellation takes effect, and you should independently verify that a subscription has ended. Where a merchant requires you to act directly, we will tell you exactly what is needed.
6. Subscription detection, estimates, and no financial advice
Subscription lists, spending totals, and savings estimates are generated automatically from your connected data and are provided for informational purposes only. They may be incomplete or inaccurate, for example where a merchant bills under an unrecognizable name, where your connected accounts do not cover all your spending, or where data quality limits detection. Nothing in the Service is financial, investment, tax, or legal advice; consult qualified professionals for such guidance.
7. Plans, billing, and automatic renewal
Certain features require a paid plan. Oncancel currently offers a weekly plan and an annual plan, billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Prices are displayed before you subscribe and may vary by region. We do not process payment card information directly, and all purchases are subject to the billing policies of the store you buy through.
Plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Prices and features may change with advance notice as described in Section 20.
8. Cancelling your Oncancel plan
Cancelling stops future renewals; it is not the same as requesting a refund (Section 9) or deleting your account (Section 15). You keep access to paid features until the end of the period you have already paid for, and you will not be charged again after that. Cancelling part-way through a period does not by itself entitle you to a pro-rated refund, except where required by applicable law.
- Purchased through the Apple App Store: cancel through Apple. On your device: Settings, tap your name, Subscriptions, Oncancel, Cancel Subscription. Oncancel cannot cancel an Apple-billed plan for you.
- Purchased through Google Play: cancel through Google. Open the Play Store, tap your profile, Payments and subscriptions, Subscriptions, Oncancel, Cancel. Oncancel cannot cancel a Google-billed plan for you.
You can also reach these screens from the plan management section in the app's Settings. If you're unsure which store you purchased through, contact support@oncancel.com and we'll help you identify it. Yes, we're aware of the irony of a subscription-cancelling app having a subscription; that's why cancelling ours takes two taps.
9. Refunds
Because plans are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, refunds are handled under the refund policies and procedures of the store you purchased through, and refund requests must be directed to that store. Independently of store policies, we may at our discretion issue refunds or credits for technical service failures lasting more than 48 hours, billing errors on our part, or termination of the Service by us for reasons other than your violation of these Terms. Nothing in this section limits any non-waivable refund rights you have under applicable consumer law.
10. User content and feedback
You may submit feedback, suggestions, or other content through the Service. By doing so, you grant Oncancel a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, modify, and incorporate that feedback to operate and improve the Service, and you confirm you have the rights to share it. Content you submit must not violate any law, infringe third-party rights, contain malicious code, or include sensitive financial information beyond what the Service needs. We may remove content that violates these Terms or poses a risk to the Service or its users.
11. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, branding, and content (excluding your data), is owned by or licensed to Oncancel and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms. You may not copy, distribute, or modify any part of the Service except as expressly permitted, reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code, use our trademarks without written permission, or create derivative works. Merchant names and logos shown in the Service belong to their respective owners and are used for identification only.
12. Communications and notifications
We may send you push notifications (renewal reminders, price-increase and trial alerts, cancellation status updates, and, if opted in, offers), emails (account and security notices, support responses, service updates, and marketing with opt-out), and, where you provide a phone number, text messages for verification and cancellation updates (message frequency varies, standard rates may apply, reply STOP to opt out). You can manage push notifications in device and app settings and unsubscribe from marketing at any time; you cannot opt out of essential service communications while you have an account.
13. Prohibited uses
You agree not to: use the Service for any unlawful purpose; connect accounts you are not authorized to access; submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information; impersonate any person or entity; attempt unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts; use bots, scrapers, or other automated tools beyond normal usage; interfere with or disrupt the Service; introduce viruses or other harmful code; or resell, redistribute, or use the Service to build a competing product. Violations may result in warnings, suspension, termination, legal action, or cooperation with law enforcement.
14. Service modifications and availability
We may modify, update, or discontinue features at any time, and we update pricing with advance notice to existing subscribers. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service; maintenance windows, third-party provider outages, and events beyond our control can cause interruptions. For planned maintenance we give advance notice where possible, and for major changes we give at least 30 days' notice by email or in-app notification.
15. Account termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time using the in-app deletion option or by contacting support@oncancel.com. We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms, fraud or misuse, non-payment, legal or regulatory reasons, or extended inactivity with notice. Upon termination, your access ends, connected bank and email accounts are disconnected, your personal data is deleted according to our Privacy Policy, and fees already paid are non-refundable except as described in Section 9. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including 10, 11, and 16 through 19) survive.
16. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. Without limiting the foregoing, we do not warrant that: the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free; subscription detection or transaction categorization will be complete or accurate; every cancellation will be completed; the Service will be compatible with every device; or third-party services (including banks, Plaid, Google, and app stores) will be available or unchanged. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, in which case they apply to the minimum extent permitted.
17. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ONCANCEL AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. This includes, without limitation, losses from subscriptions we did not detect, charges billed before a cancellation took effect, third-party service failures or data breaches, and reliance on our estimates or analysis. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF $100 USD OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE. Where applicable law does not permit these limitations, our liability is limited to the minimum extent required.
18. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Oncancel and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from claims, losses, damages, and expenses, including reasonable attorney fees, arising from your use or misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms or applicable law, your breach of third-party rights, content you submit, or your account connections and the cancellation authorization you grant. We will notify you promptly of any such claim and cooperate reasonably in the defense.
19. Dispute resolution, arbitration, and class-action waiver
Before starting formal proceedings, you agree to email support@oncancel.com describing the dispute and give us 30 days to resolve it informally in good faith. If informal resolution fails, you and Oncancel agree to resolve disputes through final and binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, conducted remotely unless both parties agree otherwise, under the governing law in Section 20. Exceptions: either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court, and either party may seek injunctive relief for intellectual property violations. TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, YOU AND ONCANCEL EACH WAIVE THE RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL AND TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION. Any claim must be brought within one year after it arises, or it is permanently barred, unless applicable law does not allow this limitation.
20. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. For disputes not subject to arbitration, the state and federal courts located in Delaware have exclusive jurisdiction, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there, and proceedings will be conducted in English.
21. International users
The Service is operated from the United States and may be available internationally, but some features depend on local banking infrastructure, Plaid coverage, and regulatory requirements, and may not be available everywhere. You are responsible for complying with the laws of your own jurisdiction, and by using the Service you consent to your data being processed in the countries where we and our providers operate, as described in our Privacy Policy.
22. Accessibility
We want the Service to be usable by everyone. If you encounter an accessibility barrier, contact support@oncancel.com so we can assist you and improve.
23. General terms
Force majeure: we are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, government actions, internet or telecommunications failures, third-party provider failures, and cyber attacks. Severability: if any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect and the provision is replaced with an enforceable one that preserves its intent. Entire agreement: these Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Google User Data Policy, and any feature-specific terms are the entire agreement between you and Oncancel and supersede prior agreements. Assignment: you may not assign your rights under these Terms without our written consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, provided the assignee honors these Terms. No waiver: our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.
24. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in the Service, our business, or applicable law. Minor changes are posted with an updated "Last updated" date, and continued use constitutes acceptance. For material changes, we will give at least 30 days' advance notice by email or in-app notification, and you may close your account before they take effect if you disagree. Changes apply from the date stated in the notice.
