How to cancel Coffee Meets Bagel

Verified 3 August 2026

Coffee Meets Bagel is cancelled where you subscribed — your app store. Its own subscription policy says “Auto-renewal and subscriptions may be managed at any time by going into your app store subscription settings.” There is no phone call and no email required — but you must use the right store, and the charge continues to the end of the period you already paid for.

Work out who is billing you

Because CMB subscriptions run through the app stores, the store that sold you the subscription is the one billing you — and the only one that can stop it.

  • Apple, if you subscribed on an iPhone/iPad: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Coffee Meets Bagel → Cancel Subscription.
  • Google Play, if you subscribed on Android: Play Store → profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Coffee Meets Bagel → Cancel.
  • The charge on your statement will read as Apple or Google, not necessarily as Coffee Meets Bagel — that is normal for app-store billing.

(Our automated App Store check could not attribute in-app-purchase billing with confidence, so we record the biller as reported by CMB’s own policy page — the app stores — rather than asserting either store from our own reading.)

Cancel in the store’s subscription settings

Roughly five steps from either store’s subscription screen. Follow the store path above; CMB’s policy page confirms the store screen is the management surface.

What Coffee Meets Bagel’s terms say

You keep access to the end of the paid period; no refund for the remainder. The Terms of Service state “such cancellation will be effective at the end of the then-current Subscription period”. No cancellation fee is described in the text we reviewed, and no advance-notice window applies beyond cancelling before the renewal date.

Frequently asked

Is Coffee Meets Bagel hard to cancel?

Not especially — but you must cancel in the app store that billed you, not on CMB’s website, and you keep paying through the period you already started.

I cancelled but was charged again. Why?

Most often: the subscription lives in the other store (an old Android subscription while you now use an iPhone, or vice versa), or the cancellation happened after the renewal date. Check both stores’ subscription screens.

Will I get a refund for the rest of the period?

No — per the ToS, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current subscription period. App-store refund requests go to Apple or Google, not CMB.

Does this grade mean OnCancel recommends CMB?

No. It rates the cancellation mechanics only, and one component is unscored.
