Work out who is billing you
- Directly, through Discord — the confirmed route if you subscribed on the desktop app or in a browser. Cancel with Step 2 below.
- Through Apple, if you subscribed inside the iOS app — unconfirmed this run. If Nitro appears under iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions, Apple bills you: cancel there, not in Discord’s settings.
- Through Google Play, if you subscribed inside the Android app — unconfirmed this run. Check Play Store → Payments & subscriptions.
Cancel through Discord
- Open User Settings (the gear icon).
- Go to Subscriptions.
- Select your Nitro subscription and choose Cancel.
- Follow the prompts until the cancellation is confirmed.

What Discord’s paid-services terms say
You keep Nitro to the end of the paid period; no refund for the remainder. The Paid Services Terms state: “Cancellation will be effective at the end of the applicable subscription period during which you cancel.” No cancellation fee is described, and there is no advance-notice window beyond cancelling before the renewal date.
